ONLINE COURSE: SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING IN THE ESL CLASSROOM – A POSITIVE DISCIPLINE APPROACH
This is a hands-on and interactive course that helps teachers understand how social-emotional skills are developed, how they can be nurtured in schools and ways to balance such skills with the curriculum!
You will learn how to re-frame challenges, address feelings compassionately, set limits, as well as how to understand misbehaviour in order to respond more effectively to the needs of your pupils. You will also be empowered to help your students develop cooperation, responsibility, and problem-solving skills while creating a more peaceful and united environment in your classroom.

Professor Beatriz Fabro
Beatriz has been teaching full-time for 13 years across language institutes, early childhood centres and primary school. She holds a B.A. in Education and post-grad courses in Psychopedagogy (CENSUPEG), Innovative Educational Practices (PUC-RS), Neurosciences & Learning (CBI of Miami) and also Bilingualism, by the Harvard Univesity’s online program.
She attended the University Of Oxford’s English language Summer Programme and graduated with honours at Christ Church College/Rewley House‘s course for teacher’s continuing education in 2012. Her ELT certifications include TKTs 1,2,3, CLIL and Oxford‘s Teachers’ Academy.
Nowadays, she is a Positive Discipline Certified Educator by the American Positive Discipline Association, Educational Consultant in Social-Emotional learning and she teaches 1st Grade at a British school in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
